My current body of work is concerned with the iconography of the female body seen through the lens of socially constructed relationships and fantasies. In history, religion, pop culture and the current social climate, the icon of the woman is devoured, fragmented and pieced together by the voyeur. Using embroidery and fabric to stitch together my conceived perception, these pieces revel in the way in which women project themselves to others and themselves.
