Batry Powr is a project centered around battery-powered instruments. Like the electron in a battery, traveling from a negative to a positive charge to create power, Batry Powr believes in transforming and alchemizing the negative. Borrowing from Taoist beliefs of dualism and balance, Batry acknowledges that contrary forces may actually be complementary, interconnected and interdependent in the natural world, that difference creates energy, and that it’s our responsibility to harness that energy for change.
